The SS316L Material Pressure Temperature Sensor merges dual-parameter measurement into one explosion-proof rated, field-serviceable instrument. By eliminating the need for separate pressure and temperature transmitters, it reduces process penetrations, wiring, and inventory. The sensor employs a sputtered thin-film strain gauge on a SS316L diaphragm, isolated from the media by a welded SS316L front face. A platinum RTD element sits directly behind the diaphragm, capturing true media temperature with a rapid thermal response. This construction allows simultaneous 4-20mA outputs for pressure and temperature, or a single Modbus RTU stream containing both values.

Pressure ranges span from vacuum measurement up to 600 bar, with gauge, absolute, and sealed gauge references available. The temperature channel operates from -40 to 150°C at the sensing face, while the amplifier electronics tolerate -20 to 85°C ambient. Accuracy for the pressure channel reaches ±0.25% FS over the compensated range, including linearity, hysteresis, and repeatability. The temperature output holds ±0.3°C total accuracy from 0 to 100°C. Long-term stability is typically better than 0.1% FS per year under static conditions. The sensor accepts 8-32 VDC supply and draws less than 4 mA during operation, enabling intrinsic safety barriers when required.
